Cookie Policy
Version 1.0 · Last updated September 6, 2026 · Owner: Cyphra
In brief
This policy explains how Cyphra uses cookies, local storage, and similar identifiers across the Web Interface, Control Panel, and Billing Portal. We use only what the Platform needs to work, your preferences, and privacy-friendly first-party analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. What we do not do
3.1 Cyphra does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party behavioral-marketing identifiers on any of its surfaces. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
4. Third-party identifiers on our surfaces
4.1 Billing Portal checkout. During Billing Portal checkout you pass through a checkout hosted by our third-party payment gateway. The gateway sets its own cookies and similar identifiers to operate checkout, detect fraud, and comply with its legal obligations. Those identifiers are governed by the gateway's own cookie and privacy policies, which the checkout page links to.
4.2 CDN and security edge. Our global CDN/security edge sets short-lived identifiers on Cyphra domains as part of bot protection and DDoS defense — for example, to verify that a real browser made the request. These are strictly necessary identifiers, not tracking mechanisms.
5. Mobile web
5.1 Cyphra does not offer a companion mobile app. The Web Interface runs in any mobile browser and is subject to the same cookie and identifier disclosures as any other web surface in this policy.
5.2 If a companion app is released, this policy will be updated before it ships to describe any device identifiers or push tokens it uses.
6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
6.1 Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal; there is no consistent industry or legal standard for it, so Cyphra does not respond to DNT. Where a legally recognized opt-out signal such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) applies to you under applicable state law, we honor it as that law requires. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (Sections 3 and 4 of our Privacy Policy), these signals do not change what we collect. We will adjust this section if applicable state law imposes specific response obligations on us as we scale.
